Groundbreaking ceremony of A Vuong Primary - Secondary Boarding School project

DNO - On the morning of November 16, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project of a boarding school for primary and secondary levels in A Vuong commune. Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An attended and gave a speech.

According to the Chairman of the City People's Committee, the policy of building schools for border communes is a major decision, with profound political , social and humanistic significance, demonstrating the special attention of the Party and State to ethnic minorities in remote areas, especially students in the "fence" areas of the Fatherland.

Thereby, contributing to training and fostering human resources, creating a source of local cadres, preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic minority areas. This is an important political task assigned to 22 provinces and cities with land borders, including Da Nang .

Implementing the direction of the Politburo , the Government and under the guidance of central ministries and branches, the city surveyed, made a list of proposals, and submitted to the Government to invest in building 6 boarding schools for 6 border communes with a total investment of about 1,500 billion VND.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee said that A Vuong is a land rich in revolutionary tradition, with an important geopolitical position in terms of national defense and security. The investment in building boarding and semi-boarding schools here not only meets the learning needs of nearly 1,000 ethnic minority children but also ensures the long-term learning needs of primary and secondary schools in the commune.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that investors and construction units be resolute with creative solutions, implement the project on schedule, ensure construction quality, safety and efficiency; and soon put the school into operation.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025), the Chairman of the City People's Committee sent best wishes to all teachers in the noble career of educating people.

The A Vuong Commune Primary and Secondary Boarding School Project is built on an area of ​​over 7 hectares, with a scale of 30 classes, including primary and secondary boarding blocks; teachers and staff; multi-purpose buildings, libraries and synchronous technical infrastructure systems, with a total investment of 293 billion VND. The project is expected to be completed and put into use in August 2026.

The project is invested by the Danang Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works.
