Da Nang City leaders attend the Great Unity Day in residential areas

DNO - On the morning of November 16, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025), Member of the Standing Committee, Chief of the Office of the Da Nang City Party Committee Tran Thang Loi; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Quang Nam, along with representatives of the leaders of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, departments, branches and localities attended the Great Unity Festival in Village 1 (Tra Doc Commune).

Residential area of ​​village 1 (Tra Doc commune) currently has 258 households with 1,088 people, of which more than 98% are Ca Dong ethnic people. At the festival, delegates and people together reviewed the 95-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, a large political organization, where the strength of the great national unity bloc is gathered, contributing greatly to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

According to the report of the Village Front Working Committee, in 2025, 96.5% of households in Village 1 will achieve the title of "Cultural Family", 100% of households will use clean water, and 100% of households will participate in the self-management model of environmental protection.

During the year, the village built 37 new houses and mobilized 4 households to move to a safe place according to Resolution 23 of the People's Council of Quang Nam province (old). Patriotic emulation movements, cultural and sports activities, security and order, and education for children to go to school achieved many results.

Speaking at the festival, Chief of the Office of the Da Nang City Party Committee Tran Thang Loi hoped that the residential areas of Village 1 would continue to promote the spirit of great solidarity; make efforts to overcome difficulties caused by landslides and traffic disruptions to achieve the goal of poverty reduction, improve the quality of life for people, and contribute to building Tra Doc commune to be increasingly rich, civilized, and the people to be prosperous and happy.

On this occasion, the leaders of Da Nang city presented 20 gifts (VND 1 million/gift); the leaders of Tra Doc commune presented 5 gifts (VND 300,000/gift) to poor households and households affected by recent storms and floods.
