The name Voi Mep was born from the shape of the mountain, which from afar looks like a giant elephant lying leisurely resting. The mountain is gentle and quiet, but to reach the top, you have to go through the dense forest by skillfully clinging to each tree root, stream bank, rock slab and skillfully regulating your breathing at each milestone of the path, because there is no ready-made trail for climbing up high.
The higher you go, the slower you have to go, the more firmly the special shoe soles grip. It is a journey of discovery , a contest of strength for a small human being when he wants to experience the danger and admire the pristine beauty of the jungle. You cannot rush in every breath, nor can you stop to rest for too long in the middle of the journey, making your legs tired, just wanting to "strike" because you can't walk anymore.
At the beginning and middle of the trekking, all the senses of the traveler will be awakened by the cool air under the forest canopy and the myriad of shapes from the green moss paradise. Moss grows on the rocks beside the foaming water, moss like a chlorophyll silk ribbon swaying in the clear stream, moss covers the rotten tree trunk, moss draws patterns on the tall tree trunk reaching straight up to the sky. All of them form a curtain, a smooth, shimmering carpet reflecting the sunlight like a fairyland.
The journey to discover Voi Mep usually takes 2 days for the up and down journey. That means you will have a night camping in the middle of the forest, eating wild rice with delicious dishes such as stone frogs, stream snails, vegetables, wild bananas... In the quiet of the night, the most distinct melody of the forest is harmonized from the chirping of dozens of species of insects and thousands of rustling leaves.

The next morning, before the mist had completely cleared, the sun was already peeking over the horizon, bathing the grass and trees in a rosy glow. Every step now was not just a conquest of height, but also a journey to reach the pristine, lush vegetation.
Reaching the top, in the tired breath, the space suddenly opened up endlessly, immense, here and there were mountains, hills, forests, streams and rivers blending together. Standing below your feet, you could almost touch the green waves of millions of bamboos. The small bamboo trees were densely packed into clumps, evenly covering the entire flat surface, in addition there were some woody trees growing into small bushes at low altitude.
At low altitudes, green trees spread their leaves, but at high altitudes, only dwarf and small trees with a strong root system cling to the ground. Not all trees have the strength to withstand the mountain winds and frost year after year.
Standing on the top of Voi Mep, looking down at the layers of mountains and forests blending and intertwining through the sky, each person not only hears the sound of wind, warm sunlight or cold air caressing their skin, but also the whispering sound of water flowing at the foot of the distant mountain. It is like the origin of the river, of countless lives, like the call of mist, each breath of the earth, the forest trees, and the silence of the rocks.
You suddenly realize that you are in harmony but also fragile and small between heaven and earth.
