
Representatives of the Department of Culture of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups presented musical instruments, costumes and props to implement the experiential model to Tam and Mu areas, Kha Cuu commune.

The program was carried out from November 12 to 15 with two main tasks: Preserving the New Rice Festival of the Muong ethnic group and building a model to experience Muong culinary culture. Through the program, 120 students who are artisans and cultural cores of the commune were taught and guided on the skills of practicing rituals and performance rituals during the New Rice Festival, folk games such as tug of war, throwing con, walking on stilts, crossbow shooting and folk performing arts.

For the culinary experience model, students are taught skills in preparing traditional dishes and participate in training on methods of preserving and exploiting cuisine associated with community tourism development.

During the implementation process, the Department of Culture of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups directly supported costumes, props, materials, supplies and equipment to exchange professional knowledge on cultural preservation for the community, helping trainees improve their skills and understanding, contributing to the strong spread of the work of preserving and promoting traditional culture, creating a foundation for the formation of unique tourism products, and developing sustainable community tourism.
