Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung emphasized that the National Great Unity Day is an occasion to honor the tradition of solidarity and compatriotism, contributing to strengthening the belief and aspiration to build a prosperous, civilized and happy country. This year's festival has special significance as the entire Party, people and army have just successfully organized important events such as the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; at the same time, striving to complete the goals and targets of the 13th National Party Congress, towards the 14th National Congress and the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the spirit of international solidarity of Quang Tri province, demonstrated through the support of more than 29 billion VND to help the Cuban people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam - Cuba relations; at the same time, promptly implementing natural disaster relief activities inside and outside the province, clearly demonstrating the spirit of "Mutual love and affection". The above results are vivid evidence for the model of "Self-governed residential area - solidarity - prosperity - happiness", and at the same time affirming the important role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in gathering and promoting the strength of great national unity.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung commended and congratulated the achievements of the cadres and people of Liem Cong Tay village. Quoting President Ho Chi Minh 's teaching: "Unity, unity, great unity. In 2025, Liem Cong Tay village will implement many major policies of the Party and the State, including the task of merging two-level local governments. The work of building new rural areas, ensuring social security and taking care of people's lives will continue to receive attention. Promoting the tradition of "steel ramparts, flower ramparts", "diamond land", "heroic fire line", Liem Cong Tay village continues to affirm the spirit of solidarity in construction and development. The movement "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" has been implemented synchronously, creating many positive results. The local economy has grown; industries and services have expanded; rural infrastructure has been renovated; village roads and alleys have been upgraded; 100% of households have achieved the title of "Cultural Family"; the village has maintained the title of "Cultural Village". The poverty rate has decreased from 2.66% to 1.6%. Cultural, sports, festival, wedding and funeral activities have been organized in a civilized and economical manner.
