On the evening of November 13th, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to families affected by floods in Huong Thuy ward, Hue City.
The Deputy Prime Minister kindly inquired about the living conditions and shared in the difficulties and losses faced by the local households.
The Deputy Prime Minister also encouraged the people to take care of their health, strive to overcome difficulties, rise up in life, and quickly restore production and stabilize their lives.


The Deputy Prime Minister requested local authorities to continue paying attention to and providing timely support, especially to households in difficult circumstances and families entitled to preferential policies, ensuring that no one goes hungry during the period of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
At the same time, it was emphasized that it is necessary to strengthen forecasting and early warning systems, proactively develop and implement response plans, in order to minimize damage when floods occur in the future.
