Health consultation and gift giving to ethnic minorities

QTO - On November 15, in La Lay commune, the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee organized the program "Winter Volunteer - For health and community life" with meaningful and practical activities towards ethnic minorities.

The program was implemented under the chairmanship of the Department of Health's Youth Union (Provincial People's Committee Youth Union) in coordination with the People's Committee of La Lay commune, La Lay international border gate Border Guard Station, Hiep Duc General Clinic and Gia Binh Volunteer Association.

The units organized medical examinations, provided free medicine and haircuts, and provided advice on health protection and care to raise community awareness in disease prevention and control for more than 400 people in La Lay commune.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also presented 300 gifts to Bru-Van Kieu and Pa Ko people (each worth 500,000 VND); visited and presented gifts to the People's Committee of La Lay commune worth 3 million VND. The total cost of the program was nearly 300 million VND.

Previously, the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee also started the construction of the "Country Road Light" project in Vinh Thuy commune, with 25 500W solar-powered lighting poles, worth over 120 million VND.

These are practical activities to welcome the success of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee and towards welcoming the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Quang Tri province, term 2025-2030.
