Ca Mau is ready for activities at the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025 and the event "Hello Ca Mau"

On the afternoon of November 15, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Quoc Viet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy chaired a meeting to review preparations for the organization of the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025 and the event "Hello Ca Mau".

At the meeting, the Organizing Committee of the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025 and the event "Hello Ca Mau" together with relevant agencies and units reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the situation and progress of preparations for the organization of the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025 and the event "Hello Ca Mau".

Accordingly, 02 press conferences were held for the event; there were nearly 180 news and articles in central, regional and provincial newspapers promoting the event; 450 exhibition booths will be organized; the Provincial Youth Union, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the event unit will coordinate to organize cultural, artistic activities, and folk games every night; the opening ceremony of the 1st Southern Don Ca Tai Tu Art Festival of Ca Mau province in 2025 was held; the Ca Mau Marathon 2025 - PETROVIETNAM Cup will open at 8:10 p.m. tonight - November 15 with nearly 5,500 athletes participating.

The opening ceremony of the Festival will take place at 7:30 p.m. on November 16, broadcast live on Ca Mau Newspaper, Radio and Television and television of provinces cooperating with Ca Mau province. The closing ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. on November 22 at the Provincial Convention Center, combining with the awarding of competitions and the awarding of certificates of merit to groups and individuals.
Up to this point, all preparations have been basically completed, ready for the activities of the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025 and the event "Hello Ca Mau" to take place as planned.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai highly appreciated the preparation work of the Organizing Committee and relevant agencies and units. The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Organizing Committee, relevant agencies and units to urgently review the work in each activity; mobilize the maximum participation of media agencies to focus on communicating and promoting the event's activities; effectively implement measures to ensure security, order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting; manage and use funds thoroughly, economically and effectively; especially, must show respect for the contributions and companionship of organizations and individuals in each activity of the event.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai requested the Organizing Committee, agencies, units, organizations and individuals to promote the highest sense of responsibility; strengthen inspection work, closely coordinate with relevant organizations, individuals and businesses, ensure that activities take place carefully according to plan, create resonance, prestige and spread the Festival atmosphere to friends and tourists at home and abroad.
