Phuc Loi Ward honors outstanding collectives and individuals on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20

HNP - On November 14, the People's Committee of Phuc Loi Ward held a conference to honor outstanding collectives and individuals in the Education and Training sector in 2025; celebrating the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

This is an annual activity to honor and show gratitude for the great contributions of the management staff, teachers and staff in the ward in the career of educating people.

Comrade Nguyen Cong Bang, Head of the Emulation and Reward Committee of Hanoi City, awarded the Third Class Labor Medal of the President to Sai Dong Urban Kindergarten and Teacher Tran Thi Phuong Dung - Principal of the School.

After adjusting administrative boundaries, Phuc Loi ward now has 21 public schools and 29 non-public educational institutions, serving more than 21,000 students, becoming one of the localities with a synchronous and rapidly developing education system in Hanoi city.

The ward's school system has been invested in a modern way, meeting the requirements of innovation in general education and preschool education programs. In particular, the cluster of 3 high-quality schools in area C14 is a highlight, affirming the ward's educational position in leading digital transformation, smart school models and educational integration in the capital.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the quality of general and key education will continue to be strengthened. The whole ward has 115 excellent students at the district level, 37 excellent students at the city level and 13 students won national and international prizes in various academic competitions.

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuc Loi Ward commended and acknowledged the efforts of schools and teachers in the past school year.

He emphasized that despite the fact that the newly arranged 2-level local government model has many changes in management methods and coordination mechanisms, the Education sector of Phuc Loi ward has proactively adapted, maintained order and quality, and achieved many proud achievements.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang requested the ward's Department of Education and Training to focus on implementing key tasks in the 2025-2026 school year, emphasizing: Improving management capacity, innovating teaching methods, enhancing foreign language teaching, especially English; Promoting digital transformation in education, striving to have 70% of public schools meet the standards of digital transformation school models by 2030; Ensuring food safety in boarding schools, absolutely not allowing poisoning to occur; Strongly applying technology and artificial intelligence, improving digital capacity for teachers and students; Strengthening education on life skills, culture, ethics, building friendly - safe - happy schools.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuc Loi Ward also expressed his belief that with a sense of responsibility, dedication and efforts to innovate, the ward's Education and Training sector will continue to achieve many outstanding achievements, making important contributions to the common development goals of the ward and the Capital.

Collectives awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee include: Sai Dong Urban Primary School, Le Quy Don Primary School. 07 collectives achieved the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" including: Phuc Dong Kindergarten, Sai Dong Urban Kindergarten, Phuc Loi Primary School, Sai Dong Urban Primary School, Le Quy Don Primary School, Sai Dong Secondary School and Nguyen Gia Thieu Secondary School.
