The award ceremony was held on November 15 in Ho Chi Minh City to honor the best films and individuals.

Valerie received high praise from the jury to win the top prize - Best Film.
The film chooses a unique way of telling the story from the perspective of an automatic floor cleaning robot when witnessing a thief breaking into the house, rummaging and stealing property. However, an incident occurred causing the clash between the two leading to an unexpected ending. The work has absolutely no dialogue, only 2 characters: actor La Thanh and the automatic floor cleaning robot.

In addition to the film award, this work also brought director Tran Nguyen Hoang Long the Best Director award and actor La Thanh the Best Actor award.
At the awards ceremony of the 14-Day Short Film Competition this year, many films also had double wins. Specifically, the film A Coffee Meal received 2 awards for Best Screenplay and Best Film Editing. HOME - STAY also received 2 awards for Best Art and Best Poster. Meanwhile, Tia Sang Nho received the award for Most Favorite Short Film.
The organizers also awarded the Best Cinematography award to the film Buong ; Best Sound award to the film Loi tu U Minh and the “Yes! Film Award” to the film Vo tan trong im lang . Actress Truc Anh (film Nghiep duyen ) was also honored as Best Actress.
This year's 14-Day Short Film Competition recorded many outstanding numbers, continuing to affirm the competition's reputation as well as strong interest from the young filmmaking community.
There were a total of more than 100 short films submitted by young filmmakers across the country. Each work has its own perspective, reflecting the creative personality, sharp visual thinking and storytelling ability of the new generation of filmmakers.
After a rigorous selection process, more than 85 films were shortlisted before the top 20 short films were nominated in the award categories.
