Tay Ninh: 50 million VND awarded to support households affected by heavy rain and floods

On the morning of November 15, a working delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province and Chairman of the Labor Federation of Tay Ninh province, Tran Le Duy, visited and presented support to households affected by heavy rain and floods in Truong Mit commune.

Attending the support handover ceremony were Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the commune Tran Thi Huy Hoang; Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune Huynh Thi Ai Le, along with representatives of the commune's departments and branches and 4 affected households.

At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Chairman of the Labor Federation of Tay Ninh province presented 15 million VND/household to Mr. Duong Trung Nghia and Mr. Duong Trung Hieu; the households of Ngo Van Dang and Pham Thi Dau received 10 million VND each. The total support fund was 50 million VND, taken from the province's Natural Disaster Prevention Fund. On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Mit commune also presented each household with a gift.
