The 1st Congress of Chien Dan Commune Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030

DNO - On the morning of November 9, Chien Dan Commune Trade Union organized the 1st Commune Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Attending were Vice President of Da Nang City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh and 100 delegates representing thousands of Commune Trade Union members.

Chien Dan Commune Trade Union was established under Decision No. 1231 dated October 14, 2025 of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, assigned to manage 11 grassroots trade unions, with 3,622 union members in 3 communes: Chien Dan, Tay Ho and Phu Ninh.

Over the past time, the Commune Union has gradually stabilized the organization and implemented activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

Commune trade unions and grassroots trade unions regularly organize activities to care for and support union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances, those suffering from serious illnesses, work-related accidents, natural disasters, storms and floods, etc.; organize visits on major holidays of the year, Workers' Month, Vietnam Trade Union Foundation Day (July 28), and traditional New Year, with many programs of practical significance.

Besides, gratitude work and charity activities are regularly launched by the grassroots trade union and receive positive response from workers, civil servants and laborers.

Social fund mobilization work is always given attention, union members and workers respond positively, and every year always achieve and exceed targets assigned by superior unions.

The Congress also unanimously approved the direction and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term with key targets such as: striving for 80% of units and enterprises with 15 or more employees to establish grassroots unions; at least 90% of enterprise grassroots unions to negotiate and sign collective labor agreements; 100% of grassroots unions to ensure occupational safety and hygiene.

At the congress, the Da Nang City Labor Federation announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Chien Dan Commune Trade Union, term I, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 9 members, and appointed Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hieu to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Commune Trade Union for the term 2025 - 2030.
