Quy Nhon Nam Ward Union strives to admit 100-200 members each year.

(GLO)- On the afternoon of October 30, Quy Nhon Nam Ward Trade Union successfully held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Nguyet was appointed as Chairwoman of the Ward Trade Union.

The Quy Nhon Nam Ward Trade Union Congress was attended by Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation Ha Duy Trung and 104 official delegates representing union members and workers in the area.

Quy Nhon Nam Ward Trade Union currently manages 7,218 union members belonging to 66 grassroots trade unions. Immediately after the establishment of the Ward Trade Union, the work of developing union members, building the Trade Union organization and taking care of the practical interests of union members and workers was given due attention.

The grassroots trade unions have made efforts to innovate their organization, launch patriotic emulation movements among union members and workers; especially the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", promote initiatives and improve techniques. Thereby, contributing to Quy Nhon Nam ward in completing the targets and tasks in 2025.

In the 2025-2030 term, Quy Nhon Nam Ward Trade Union strives to have at least 70% of workers and laborers at enterprises participate in studying and improving their professional qualifications and skills every year; at least 85% of grassroots trade unions at enterprises and units outside the state sector coordinate with employers to issue and implement grassroots democracy regulations. Strive to admit 100-200 new union members each year and establish 1-3 new grassroots trade unions.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of Quy Nhon Nam Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Nguyet - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the ward Trade Union.
