(GLO)- On the morning of October 30, the Quy Nhon Dong Ward Trade Union (Gia Lai province) successfully held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term, with the participation of 100 official delegates. Mr. Truong Cong Hien was appointed as Chairman of the Ward Trade Union.

Currently, Quy Nhon Dong ward has 40 grassroots unions with more than 7,300 union members. In recent times, the work of caring for and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers continues to be focused on.

In which, "Union Meal" was organized for 497 union members and workers; "Union member welfare" program was implemented with 500 preferential shopping vouchers awarded...

In addition, grassroots trade unions have promoted the mobilization of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers to actively compete in production and work, contributing to the completion of targets and tasks for 2025.

In the 2025-2030 term, Quy Nhon Dong Ward Trade Union strives to have at least 65% of workers and laborers at enterprises participate in studying and improving their professional qualifications and skills every year; at least 85% of grassroots trade unions at enterprises and units outside the state sector coordinate with employers to promulgate and implement grassroots democracy regulations.

The goal is to build a strong and comprehensive Quy Nhon Dong Ward Trade Union organization to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
