Gia Lai: Supplementing nearly 20.3 billion VND for communes and wards to implement the policy of streamlining payroll

(GLO)- The Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee has just approved the list, budget and additional budget for 2025 for communes and wards to implement the policy of streamlining the payroll for non-professional workers at the commune level according to regulations in Article 9 of Decree No. 154/2025/ND-CP of the Government.

Specifically, in Decision No. 2393/QD-UBND dated October 28, 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee approved the list and budget for implementing the policy of streamlining the payroll according to the provisions of Article 9 of Decree No. 154/2025/ND-CP for 106 part-time workers at the commune level with a total budget of nearly 20.3 billion VND.

Along with that, the 2025 target for communes and wards to implement policies and regimes is added with an amount of nearly 20.3 billion VND. The funding source for implementation comes from the 2025 salary reform source.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of relevant communes and wards to implement procedures to resolve the regime and policies on streamlining the payroll for non-professional workers approved for streamlining the payroll, ensuring full and timely compliance with the provisions of Decree No. 154/2025/ND-CP.

At the same time, report the implementation results to the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Finance for synthesis and reporting to competent authorities according to regulations.

The Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Finance are fully responsible for the content of appraisal, consultation, and proposal; synthesizing the results of streamlining the payroll, reporting to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and reporting to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Finance for inspection according to regulations.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to supplement the above budget estimate in accordance with current regulations.
