Nearly 1,000 athletes participate in the Ha Dong Ward Sports Festival

On the morning of October 31, the People's Committee of Ha Dong ward organized the 1st Sports Festival in 2025, with the participation of nearly 1,000 athletes from blocks, residential clusters and units in the area.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Dong Ward Nguyen Huu Hien affirmed that the Congress is an opportunity to evaluate the results of the development of the mass physical education and sports movement, to commend outstanding collectives and individuals, thereby selecting excellent athletes to participate in the City-level Sports Congress. The sports movement not only contributes to improving health, but also strengthens solidarity and builds cultural life in residential areas.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Hien emphasized that this is a great festival for all cadres, party members and people of Ha Dong ward, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, will to rise up and determination to develop comprehensively in the new period, towards dynamism, efficiency, closeness to the people and for the people.

In particular, after implementing the 2-level local government model, mass cultural and sports activities have been promoted, becoming one of the criteria for building a "civilized, livable, united and developed" ward. The congress is also a symbol of the spirit of solidarity, aspiration to rise up and determination to innovate of cadres, party members and people of the whole ward in the digital transformation period, towards a civilized urban area.
