Xuan Mai commune leaders dialogue and listen to people's opinions

HNP - On the afternoon of October 30, leaders of Xuan Mai commune had a direct dialogue with local people, enhancing trust, promoting democracy and unifying actions in implementing sustainable development goals.

Vice Chairman of Xuan Mai Commune People's Committee Chu Van Khang reported on the local socio -economic situation in the first 10 months of 2025.

Reporting at the Conference, Vice Chairman of Xuan Mai Commune People's Committee Chu Van Khang emphasized that in the first 10 months of 2025, despite the large workload after the merger and the impact of extreme weather, the commune still maintained socio-economic stability, completing many key tasks. Specifically, the total production value in the area reached 11,189 billion VND, budget revenue reached 132% of the estimate.

Land management and construction order have been strengthened; the fields of culture, education , health, and social security have been focused on. In the field of digital transformation, the commune has completed 25/25 tasks assigned by the city to implement Project 06, contributing to facilitating people in transactions and using online public services...

Mr. Pham Van Hieu in Tan Binh village (Xuan Mai commune) made a recommendation at the Conference.

Agreeing with the results achieved, delegates attending the conference frankly expressed their opinions and reflected on the remaining problems of the people's livelihood. Mr. Pham Van Hieu, representative of Tan Binh village people, proposed that the Commune People's Committee handle the drainage system from the Special Forces Officers' School's training ground to the residential area, causing flooding during heavy rains, and build a drainage ditch down to the lake for the people of Group 7.

Mr. Luu Quang Sang, representative of Tien Tien village people, suggested: The public service point has not met the demand, it is necessary to increase human resources and modern machinery, so that people do not waste time waiting when doing administrative procedures; continue to invest in the rural transportation system, because it has degraded.

Mr. Le Thanh Hoan, representative of Xuan Mai village people, expressed his opinion at the Conference.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dan, representative of Viet An village people, proposed adding more panels to the sewer system in the area, causing danger and many internal traffic routes to deteriorate.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Son, representative of Phuong Hanh village people, reported that the village's clean water project, which was invested in in 2013, has now degraded, leading to water shortages in the dry season, forcing many households to buy water for daily use...

Representatives of Tan Mai village residents petitioned the government to repair the degraded village cultural house and sports field, and to strengthen the public loudspeaker and lighting systems to serve daily activities and ensure security and order.

Some opinions from Tan Xuan village hope that the commune will promote rural digital transformation, open classes to guide people in using online public services, look up land information and make cashless payments.

Responding to the opinions of the people, representatives of the professional agencies of Xuan Mai commune explained and clarified each group of contents. Chairman of the People's Committee of Xuan Mai commune Nguyen Anh Duc said that the commune has included projects to renovate the drainage system, upgrade the internal roads, the cultural house, and renovate the People's cemetery in the public investment plan for the period 2026-2030, and at the same time coordinated with the collection unit to overcome the backlog of domestic waste.

Regarding digital transformation, the commune mobilized telecommunications enterprises to expand fiber optic cable networks to each village, established community technology teams, and supported people in using online public service portals and electronic payments. All recommendations from the people will be made public in terms of progress, ensuring transparency and community supervision.

Concluding the conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council Hoang Minh Hien affirmed that the dialogue took place in a democratic and open atmosphere, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and receptiveness of the Party Committee and the government. The opinions of the people were all practical, accurately reflecting the actual situation at the grassroots level.
