Hanoi proposes to stop organizing fireworks displays at the closing ceremony of the Autumn Fair

Hanoi City People's Committee issued Document No. 5867/UBND-NC dated October 31, 2025 to the Steering Committee of the 1st Autumn Fair - 2025 on stopping the organization of fireworks display at the Closing Ceremony of the Fair.

Accordingly, on October 29, 2025, the City People's Committee issued Document No. 5801/UBND-NC on organizing fireworks at the closing ceremony of the 2025 Autumn Fair according to the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Document No. 5635/BVHTTDL-BQTG dated October 23, 2025 and the plan of Vingroup Corporation.

However, at present, the Central provinces are being heavily affected by prolonged floods, causing serious damage to people, property and infrastructure.

In the spirit of sharing and accompanying people in disaster-affected areas, the City People's Committee proposed to stop organizing fireworks displays at the Closing Ceremony of the 1st Autumn Fair in 2025.
