Thuan An Commune launched a campaign to support people in provinces affected by storms and floods.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the major holidays of the year, towards welcoming the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City, term 2025-2030; 95th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025); 14th National Congress of the Party; Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031.

At the conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan An commune Nguyen Van Dat emphasized that the "National Great Unity Day" in the residential area has activities to honor and commend outstanding collectives and individuals in implementing patriotic emulation movements and social security campaigns in the residential community.

Units and localities need to diversify the forms of organizing festivals, promote the self-management role and creativity of the people, contributing to building united, safe, happy residential areas, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

The time to organize the "National Great Unity Day" in residential areas of Thuan An commune is from November 5 to November 18. It is expected that each village and residential group will have 2 cases with difficult circumstances to receive gifts; organize medical examination and treatment for 17 cases of serious illness, the cost is taken from the commune's "For the Poor" Fund.

Also at the conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan An commune Nguyen Van Dat launched and called on collectives, individuals, units, businesses... to support people in provinces affected by storms and floods with the spirit of "sharing food and clothes", "Hanoi for the whole country, Hanoi with the whole country", promoting the tradition of solidarity "mutual love and affection", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves".

During the launching ceremony, delegates, officials, civil servants and public employees of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Thuan An commune participated in donating 54,651 million VND.
