Establishment of the Content Subcommittee of the APEC 2027 National Committee

Accordingly, the Chairman of the APEC 2027 National Committee decided to establish the Content Subcommittee of the APEC 2027 National Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Hang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Committee, Chair of SOM APEC 2027, Co-Head of the Content Subcommittee. Comrade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade , Vice Chairman of the National Committee, Co-Head of the Content Subcommittee.

The Content Subcommittee also has members who are leaders of ministries, branches, and leaders of Departments and Divisions of relevant ministries and branches. In which, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has Deputy Minister Ho An Phong and Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Ha Van Sieu.

The Content Subcommittee is responsible for developing plans, directing and organizing the implementation of all content work to serve the activities of APEC Vietnam Year 2027; urging and coordinating the activities of all relevant ministries and agencies in the process of developing content, agendas, reports, documents, diplomatic letters and related materials of conferences and events of APEC Vietnam Year 2027.

Establishment of the APEC 2027 National Committee

Specifically: Research, propose and advocate for contents related to the themes, priorities, initiatives and imprints of APEC Vietnam Year 2027; coordinate with Sub-committees and APEC members to develop annual activity schedules, agendas, working programs, documents, invitations and all documents related to the content of APEC Vietnam Year 2027; coordinate with Ministries and agencies in charge of APEC Vietnam Committees/Working Groups to assume the position of Chair or Vice Chair in the period 2026 - 2028, and incorporate Vietnam's policies and initiatives into the activity program.

Mobilize Senior Leaders of APEC members and partners to attend the 2027 APEC Summit Week and arrange bilateral visits.

Develop scenarios for the leadership and speeches of our Leaders at the High-Level Week; coordinate with ministries, branches and the APEC 2027 National Secretariat in the process of developing scenarios for the leadership and speeches at specialized Ministerial Conferences, SOM Conferences and related activities.

Coordinate the preparation of content for bilateral visits of APEC members before, during and after the Summit Week and bilateral meetings of Senior Leaders.

Coordinate the preparation of content related to APEC Vietnam Year 2027 to serve information and propaganda work.

Coordinate with the APEC 2027 National Secretariat and Sub-committees in organizing activities during the Summit Week, Ministerial Meetings, SOM Meetings and related activities.

Periodically and promptly report to the Chairman of the APEC 2027 National Committee on content preparation and emerging issues; promptly propose our policies and countermeasures.

Carry out other tasks related to the content of APEC Vietnam Year 2027 as directed by the Chairman of the APEC 2027 National Committee.

The two Co-Heads of the Content Subcommittee are responsible to the Chairman of the APEC 2027 National Committee for assigned tasks and decide on the Working Regulations of the Subcommittee.

Head of the Subcommittee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of SOM: Overall responsibility, major orientation and political, foreign affairs and related contents; decide on assignment, stipulate work coordination regime, periodically hold meetings or convene meetings when necessary; coordinate and harmonize work with other Subcommittees, relevant ministries, branches, agencies and localities.

Head of the Subcommittee, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade: In charge of economic, trade, investment and related contents; coordinate with the Co-Head of the Content Subcommittee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of SOM in coordinating the work of the Content Subcommittee and co-chairing the Content Subcommittee meetings.

Members of the Content Subcommittee, based on their functions and duties, shall perform the tasks stated in the Decision on establishing the Content Subcommittee and other tasks assigned by the Co-Head of the Content Subcommittee; be responsible to the Head of the Content Subcommittee and the Head of their agency for the results of performing assigned tasks; attend meetings convened by the Co-Head of the Content Subcommittee; periodically report on the results of implementing content work aspects; promptly report on difficulties and problems during the implementation process.

The Content Subcommittee will dissolve itself after completing its tasks serving the activities of APEC Vietnam Year 2027 and related activities.
