The delegation was led by Dr. Do Van Quan - Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics, Society and Environment. Accompanying them were Dr. Le Van Toan - Department of Training Management, Head of the class and 56 students.
Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Minh Khu - Director of An Khe-Ka Nak Hydropower Company, along with comrades in the Board of Directors, Executive Board of Trade Union, Youth Union, leaders of departments, workshops and a large number of officers and employees.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation visited and worked with An Khe-Ka Nak Hydropower Company (a unit under Power Generation Corporation 2 (EVNGENCO2), and participated in a discussion on the topic "Ensuring energy security and sustainable development of hydropower in the current period".
This is an opportunity for students to approach the vivid practices of the electricity industry, better understand the role of hydropower in the national energy security strategy, associated with the goal of green and sustainable development.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Minh Khu - Director of An Khe - Ka Nak Hydropower Company gave an overview of the formation and development process of the unit. Accordingly, An Khe - Ka Nak Hydropower Company was established under Decision No. 232/QD-EVN dated April 22, 2011 of Vietnam Electricity Group, with the task of managing and operating two hydropower plants An Khe (160 MW) and Ka Nak (13 MW). In 2012, the Company officially became a member unit of EVNGENCO2 - one of the three power generation corporations under EVN.
After nearly 15 years of construction and development, An Khe-Ka Nak Hydropower Company has safely and effectively operated two plants with a total capacity of 173 MW, an average output of more than 600 million kWh/year, making an important contribution to the task of ensuring stable power supply for the Central Highlands and Central region and the national power system.
In addition to the task of electricity production, the Company always focuses on implementing corporate culture, protecting the environment, responding to natural disasters, ensuring downstream safety and caring for workers' lives, aiming at the goal of "sustainable development - harmony between economy, people and nature".

The discussion was lively, open and sincere, with many passionate opinions revolving around the topic "Ensuring energy security and sustainable development of the hydropower industry". The students were particularly interested in technical management, digital transformation application in production management, clean energy development and the role of businesses in environmental protection and social responsibility.
In addition, the professional forum is not only a bridge between theory and practice, spreading the good values of EVN/EVNGENCO2/An Khe-Ka Nak Hydropower Company's corporate culture, affirming the pioneering role of the electricity industry in ensuring energy security and sustainable development of the country.
