On November 9th, the Ministry of Finance issued a warning about a website currently appearing on the internet, https://congthongtindientubtc.com/, that is impersonating the Ministry of Finance's website to process online debt collection. This is a completely fake website, and people should be vigilant and not follow the instructions on this site to avoid the risk of being scammed.

The Ministry of Finance does not require citizens to transfer fees to recover lost funds. Citizens should be wary of websites and fan pages impersonating the Ministry of Finance and requesting personal information or fees in exchange for refunds. Citizens should immediately contact the police to report any suspicious activity. For information on financial policies, citizens can access the Ministry of Finance's electronic portal at https://www.mof.gov.vn.
Recently, there has been a significant increase in the number of fake websites impersonating state management agencies. The Vietnam Social Security (VSS) agency has also issued warnings about the continuous detection of numerous fake websites mimicking official information pages, causing confusion and potentially being used for fraud and the theft of personal information. Through monitoring, the Information Technology and Digital Transformation Center of the VSS discovered the website datlichbhxh[.]com impersonating VSS officials, sending links requesting citizen identification numbers, bank account numbers, health insurance cards, etc., in order to steal assets. This website's server is located abroad, avoiding the control of authorities. To protect assets and personal information, the VSS agency has coordinated with relevant units to track and handle the case. The fake website is now inaccessible. The VSS advises citizens to only access the official online public service portal at https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn, with the .gov.vn domain...
