Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang (middle) inspected the preparations for the opening of the Ca Mau Marathon 2025 - PetroVietNam Cup.

Through the on-site inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang highly appreciated the progress of stage installation, sound and lighting systems, starting areas, exhibition booths and security and safety work for athletes and participants.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang requested relevant units to continue reviewing each item, completing the remaining work according to plan; focusing on traffic regulation, arranging medical and logistics forces to ensure the opening ceremony takes place solemnly and safely.

The Ca Mau Marathon 2025 - PetroVietNam Cup with the theme "Ca Mau - Destination 2025" is a large-scale sporting event of the province, contributing to promoting the image of Ca Mau as a dynamic, friendly and rich tourism potential. The tournament takes place over two days, November 15-16, 2025, as part of the Ca Mau Crab Festival series of activities. The opening ceremony will be held on the evening of November 15.

The tournament has 05 distances: 42km, 21km, 10km, 5km and Kid Run 02km for children, expected to attract about 6,000 domestic and international athletes to participate.
