Quang Son Commune launched the Nung Ethnic Folk Cultural Activities Club

On November 16, in Ba Dinh hamlet, Quang Son commune, the National Great Unity Day was held and the Nung ethnic folk culture club was launched. The program was attended by representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, local leaders, organizations and a large number of people.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented props and costumes to the Nung Ethnic Folk Cultural Activities Club.

At the Festival, delegates and people reviewed the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front; evaluated the results of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in the hamlets during the year.

Also at the Festival, Quang Son commune launched the Nung Ethnic Folk Cultural Activities Club with 28 members, including elderly artisans with deep understanding of customs, language and folk performing arts; amateur actors, union members, and enthusiastic members attached to the local cultural and artistic movement; and a number of talented young people with passion for preserving national identity.

The Club will focus on maintaining, restoring and teaching the unique cultural values ​​of the Nung people such as Then singing, Sli-luon, traditional rituals, folk games, costumes and typical cuisine . The establishment of the Club is expected to contribute to preserving the intangible cultural heritage of the Nung people, creating a healthy community living environment, and promoting the movement to build a cultural life in residential areas in the area.
