More than 3,500 poor and near-poor households attend 'Zero-VND Hanh Thuong Market'

On November 16, more than 3,500 poor, near-poor and extremely disadvantaged households in 8 communes: Phu Thong, Cao Minh, Thuong Minh, Hiep Luc, Bach Thong, Vinh Thong, Cam Giang and Phong Quang participated in the "Zero-VND Hanh Thuong Market".

The program is hosted by Phu Thong commune, in coordination with Hanh Thuong Volunteer Group; An Phu Agricultural - Trade - Service - Tourism Cooperative and Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital.

Many people come to "Zero-dong Hanh Thuong Market".

The market is organized with the aim of supporting poor households to improve their lives through a system of coupons distributed to each household, such as: Green coupons for households, pink coupons for women, yellow coupons for children and white coupons to exchange for items according to their needs.

More than 20 stalls are scientifically arranged, with a full range of products such as cosmetics, agricultural tools, utensils, spices, vegetables, rice, clothes, bedding, children's toys, fast food, etc., helping people easily choose practical items.

The Organizing Committee gave bicycles to students in difficult circumstances at the Fair.

People also receive free medical examinations from the team of doctors and nurses of the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital; and have access to many safe vegetables, tubers, rice and animal breeds...

At the Fair, the Organizing Committee also presented 60 bicycles to poor students who have overcome difficulties and supported breeding goats for extremely disadvantaged households.

The fair ended in joy and warmth spread by the spirit of sharing. The gifts given not only helped to reduce the current difficulties, but also gave more motivation for families to stabilize their lives and move forward.
