| Many motorcyclists did not dare to risk crossing the train crossing area. |
Specifically, the National Highway 27B section through the train crossing area, the section in Hoa Son village was completely flooded, spreading to the railway line. Therefore, the trains had to temporarily stop operating while waiting for the water to recede to ensure safety.
In addition, the box culverts along the railway were washed away by floodwaters, leading to severe erosion of the roadside at the edge of the culvert. This situation made the area unsafe for vehicles to travel.
Immediately after the incident, the People's Committee of Nam Cam Ranh commune quickly organized forces to set up checkpoints at both ends of the affected road section. On-site forces guarded, warned and guided traffic flow to prevent the risk of accidents and ensure safety for the people.
Local authorities are continuing to closely monitor the flood situation and are ready to respond to any arising situations. People are advised to limit their movement through flooded areas and follow the instructions of the authorities.
