The campaign aims to contribute to the implementation of the policy of the Ministry of Finance and the Tax sector on eliminating lump-sum tax and switching all business households to paying taxes by declaration method from January 1, 2026.

Representatives of BIDV and Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department signed a cooperation agreement.

Business households enter a major transition period

According to the tax management reform orientation, from 2026, lump-sum tax will be officially abolished. Accordingly, millions of business households will have to manage revenue, expenses, and cash flow more systematically, and switch to electronic tax declaration and payment. This poses many challenges, especially for small households that still use manual recording methods, facing many concerns: costs of investing in equipment and software; how to use electronic invoices and cash registers; tax declaration and payment operations in the digital environment; risk of being fined if not meeting new regulations...

Recognizing these challenges, the Tax sector has been implementing many support programs, typically the campaign "60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration", in coordination with departments, branches, professional associations, technology enterprises and banks to ensure that business households are fully guided and gradually converted.
