Opening of the 2025 Receptionist Training Course

On the morning of November 17, in Phan Thiet ward, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province opened the 2025 Receptionist training course.

Attending the opening class were representatives of the Provincial Tourism Association; representatives of the leaders of professional departments under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and 80 students from accommodation establishments and tourist areas and spots in the eastern region of Lam Dong province.

Ms. Bui Thi Cam Huong, Deputy Head of the Tourism Management Department under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province delivered the opening speech.

In the class, students were taught some contents such as: general overview of tourism development situation in Vietnam and Lam Dong ; legal regulations on tourism business activities; tourism development orientation of Lam Dong province in the coming time.

MSc. Duong Thi Hien, Deputy Head of Tourism Management Department, conveyed some content to students.

In addition, students also learn a number of skills such as: communication, behavior, guest reception and departure procedures, room booking and guest management, using hotel management software, introducing and selling additional services.

Students come from accommodation establishments and tourist areas in the eastern region of Lam Dong province.

In particular, students are guided to build a professional style and demeanor, standards of a receptionist in a modern tourism environment.

This is also one of the specific activities to implement the orientation of developing high-quality tourism human resources that the province has set out in the Resolution of the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The Receptionist training course will take place over 3 days from November 17 to 19, 2025.
