Currently, the commune's functional forces are still holding on to key areas, blocking off and evacuating people in dangerous areas to safety.

Specifically, in Hiep My village, 3 houses had their roofs blown off; of which, 1 house had its roof completely blown off, and 1 house in Song Can village had its kitchen collapsed. In Hon Quy and Hoa Son villages, many houses were deeply flooded. In addition, the headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of Nam Cam Ranh commune were also deeply flooded; the authorities had to move equipment and documents to higher ground to ensure safety.
