
According to the report of the People's Committee of Huong Tra Ward, the tornado on the night of November 16th blew off the roofs and damaged 30 houses in 9 solidarity groups in the residential groups: Hoa Lang, Ngoc Bich, Dong Hanh (old Tam Ngoc commune area). Of these, 11 houses had their roofs completely blown off, the rest had their roofs partially blown off.
In addition, the tornado also caused damage: a 3,000m² flower greenhouse for Tet was completely collapsed; 11 electric poles, 1ha of fruit trees of various kinds, 500m² of acacia and many trees were broken.
Meanwhile, Chien Dan commune recorded major damage due to a tornado on the evening of November 16. The commune People's Committee reported that 55 houses had their roofs blown off; of which, 3 houses had their roofs completely blown off in Khanh Tho and Truong My villages.

The tornado also damaged the electrical system, playground, volleyball court, garage, and fence of the People's Committee of Tam Thai commune (old). The Medical Station and Martyrs Cemetery of Tam Thai commune (old) also recorded many damages to the herbal medicine garden, memorial house, fence, electrical system, and trees.
Faced with human losses, on the night of November 16 and the morning of November 17, the authorities of Huong Tra ward and Chien Dan commune inspected, visited, encouraged and shared with affected households.
At the same time, the locality urgently deployed military forces, youth unions, and police to help people clear fallen trees, re-roof houses, and repair initial damage so that people could soon stabilize their lives.
