Launching a songwriting contest about culture, sports and tourism

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just launched a songwriting contest about the culture, sports and tourism sector to honor the values, spirit and identity of those who are dedicating day and night to the cause of "building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity".

The competition is held nationwide, for professional and amateur musicians, organizations, individuals and music lovers. Entries must demonstrate a love for the profession, praise the traditions, roles and contributions of the culture, sports and tourism sector in the country's development, and at the same time honor modern, humane and integrated Vietnamese people.

The deadline for receiving entries is from now until December 15, 2025. The summary and award ceremony is expected to take place on December 31, 2025 in Hanoi . The prize structure includes 1 first prize worth 50 million VND, 2 second prizes worth 25 million VND, 3 third prizes worth 15 million VND and 5 consolation prizes worth 10 million VND.

The competition is chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the Department of Performing Arts as the permanent organizer. The jury consists of prestigious musicians and experts. This activity is expected to contribute to inspiring creativity and spreading the spirit of “Solidarity - Creativity - Development” throughout the industry.
