Promote propaganda about seas and islands, heroic tradition of Navy soldiers

The Congress has set out the direction and tasks for the new term, which is to build a strong, united and unified Association; continue to preserve and promote the heroic tradition of the Navy soldiers, the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", contributing to building a rich and civilized homeland, building and protecting the Fatherland of Vietnam. In addition, the Association has consolidated the organization of the Association at all levels according to the new area, built a team of cadres with both heart and capacity; developed members, with special attention paid to the young generation who used to work in the Navy. The Association has promoted propaganda and education of traditions for members and the young generation about Vietnam's seas and islands, the heroic tradition of the Vietnam Navy; increased "comradely affection" activities to support members in difficulty...

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ninh, Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Navy Tradition Association for the 2020-2025 term, said that the Ninh Binh Provincial Navy Tradition Association currently has more than 300 members. In the past term, the Ninh Binh Provincial Navy Tradition Association organized dozens of traditional talks about Vietnam's seas and islands, the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Navy on national holidays and anniversaries, the traditional victory day of the Vietnam People's Navy, the founding day of the Navy... at schools in the area; coordinated with local armed forces to talk to new recruits before joining the army. These traditional meetings and exchanges have helped cadres, members, people and students better understand the traditional significance, achievements and glorious feats of arms of the Vietnam People's Navy.

During its term, the Association visited and presented gifts to hundreds of members and their relatives who were sick, in difficulty, and policy beneficiaries; built houses of gratitude, solidarity houses, and comrade houses for dozens of families of war invalids and martyrs. Association members in localities always actively participated in the movement of "Repaying gratitude", building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; and contributed hundreds of working days to community activities. Many comrades were commended and rewarded by Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and organizations.
