“We follow our child simply because we want him to feel that he is not alone,” said Nguyen Bao Toan, father of 2024 champion Nguyen Bao Chau. “Many parents are sometimes more stressed than their children during decisive shots. But they also learn to stand at a distance, not intervene, let their children handle the situation themselves and become stronger.”
