Saigon Industry Corporation walks together for social security

(NLDO) – Walking together and planting trees are two highlight activities in the series of events celebrating the 20th anniversary of Saigon Industry Corporation.

On the morning of November 16, at Quang Trung Software Park Square (Trung My Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), Saigon Industry Corporation (CNS) organized a walking event "20-year journey - Joining hands for social security".

Chairman of the Board of Directors Tran Phi Long delivered the opening speech of the walk.

Many member and affiliated companies joined the walk with CNS.

This special walking tour was attended by nearly 800 officers and employees of 18 CNS member companies and some units affiliated and cooperating with Saigon Industry Corporation. The walking journey was about 3 km long within the Quang Trung Software Park campus with the destination also being the starting point.

The Corporation's leaders led the walk together.

Mr. Tran Phi Long, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Industry Corporation (CNS), said: "The walking activity opens a series of events to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the corporation's establishment, lasting from now until March 2026. To achieve the current scale, CNS acknowledges the contributions of all staff, partners and local support.

With increasingly improved policies and strategies, CNS continues to play a leading role in the industrial sector in Ho Chi Minh City. The unit's goal is to become one of the city's leading enterprises in economic development and contribute to the country. In 2025, the Corporation will be ranked by the Ministry of Finance in the group of 36/50 enterprises with the largest budget contributions in the country - an encouraging achievement."

Many partner units join hands with CNS to carry out social security activities

Around this highlight walking activity, the Organizing Committee of CNS mobilized the officers, employees of the corporation and partner units to donate more than 700 million VND. All of this money was used to support union members in difficult circumstances, to donate "Great Solidarity" houses to the locality and a number of other community activities.

Mr. Tran Phi Long, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNS, presented gifts to support the locality.

After the walk, representatives of CNS leaders and member companies participated in planting trees in the park, contributing to creating a green, clean and beautiful production and business environment. Hundreds of officers and employees then attended the final round of "CNS Golden Bell", learning about the history and knowledge of the corporation, knowledge of the Party Committee and many other life skills.

It is expected that by March 2026, CNS will organize many cultural, artistic and sports activities along with production skills competitions, aiming to improve product quality, contributing to increasing the reputation of each company's brand.

"In addition to completing the tasks assigned by the city, today's walking program also aims to improve the physical fitness of staff, helping them have good health to complete production and business tasks and join hands with society to care for those in difficult circumstances" - Mr. Tran Phi Long said.
