Talented young golfers compete at Tien Phong Golf Championship 2025

TPO - Tien Phong Golf Championship 2025 - For Young Vietnamese Talents has officially kicked off at Thien Duong Golf Course - Legend Valley Country Club (Ninh Binh), gathering excellent young golfers from across the country. The tournament is not only an opportunity for golfers to demonstrate their skills, but also a playground to honor and develop promising talents of Vietnamese golf.

Nguyen Bao Chau, the reigning champion of Tien Phong Golf Championship, tees off to open the 2025 season. Last year, Bao Chau made history by becoming the first female golfer to win the For Young Vietnamese Talents tournament.

Bao Chau shared that her current form is not at its best, but she has been training seriously and diligently recently. Although she does not put too much pressure on her performance, Bao Chau affirmed that she will compete to the best of her ability, trying to show the best version of herself to defend the championship title.

In the same group as Bao Chau is National Golf Runner-up Nguyen Viet Gia Han. Three years ago, when she was only 11 years old, Gia Han surprised the experts with her powerful and powerful drive, winning the Longest Drive title at Tien Phong Golf Championship 2022. From the small girl standing on the tee box years ago, Gia Han has now become one of the brightest faces of the Vietnamese youth golf scene.

This year's group brings together many talented faces such as Nguyen Trong Hoang, Le Nhat Binh, Nguyen Vu Phuc Anh and Nguyen Duc Son, promising to bring dramatic and exciting competitions.

Coming to Legend Valley Country Club for the first time, National player Nguyen Trong Hoang rated it as a beautiful course with diverse terrain, interwoven with many water traps and sand traps.

Nguyen Trong Hoang aims to win the Tien Phong Golf Championship 2025, considering this an important step towards the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand at the end of the year.

The 2023 Tien Phong Golf Championship Champion, Nguyen Duc Son, entered the 2025 season with the highest competitive spirit. After the 2023 championship, Duc Son continued to excel when he won the 2024 National Golf Championship, affirming his stable performance and determined competitive spirit.

Nguyen Vu Phuc Anh (9 years old) is the youngest golfer at Tien Phong Golf Championship 2025. Phuc Anh is currently ranked No. 1 in the U9 age group in the VGA Junior Tour system, and has continuously won the U9 championship in a series of prestigious tournaments such as Vietnam Junior Open 2025 or Junior Race to Taylormade.

In particular, Phuc Anh's older brother, Nguyen Vu Quoc Anh, won the Tien Phong Golf Championship 2019. Now, while Quoc Anh is continuing his studies and training abroad, Phuc Anh has become the one to continue the family tradition, conquering the tournament for Vietnamese Young Talents.

Le Nhat Binh (11 years old), a notable face in the youth golf community. Despite his young age, Nhat Binh has left a strong impression thanks to his maturity and calm competitive spirit beyond his age.
