The Vietnamese team has arrived in Laos, ready for the goal of victory.

TPO - On November 15, the Vietnamese team arrived in Vientiane (Laos), entering the final preparation stage for the second leg match against the Lao team in the 2027 Asian Cup Qualifiers on November 19.

On the morning of November 15, after about an hour of flying, the Vietnamese team arrived at Wattay International Airport in the capital Vientiane (Laos). After moving to the hotel and settling in, the players had a full rest in the afternoon to fully recover their physical condition.

A day before, team leader Doan Anh Tuan went to Laos to work with the Lao Football Federation to agree on the schedule, logistics and conditions for the team during their stay, training and competition in Vientiane. The Vietnamese team that went to Laos had 23 players, with Do Duy Manh as captain.

In recent days, the Vietnam national team has been training actively at Viet Tri Stadium, both improving physical strength and practicing tactics, especially when Nguyen Xuan Son returned, bringing many changes to the attack. Although he has just returned after 11 months of injury, Xuan Son has integrated and caught up very quickly, showing his strength in situations of acceleration or kicking the ball. It is not impossible that he will be on the field in the match against Laos.

In the first leg at Binh Duong Stadium in March 2025, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team won 5-0 against Laos with goals from Ngoc Quang, Hai Long, Quang Hai and a double from Van Vi. The whole team is determined to win all 3 points to maintain their chances of competing in the race for tickets to the 2027 Asian Cup Finals.

According to the plan, the Vietnamese team will start their first training session tomorrow afternoon (November 16), kicking off the final 3-day preparation series before entering the official match. The match between the Lao team and the Vietnamese team will take place at 7:00 p.m. on November 19 at the New Laos National Stadium.
