Vietnam team leaves for Laos to compete in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup

VHO - The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that this morning, November 15, the Vietnamese team left Viet Tri (Phu Tho) and headed to Vientiane to prepare for the second leg against the Laos team in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.

The Vietnam team with 23 players has just spent 4 days "training" in Viet Tri. Besides the familiar faces, the return of Nguyen Xuan Son is very notable.

The appearance of Xuan Son is not only good news for fans but also a great source of motivation for the whole team before the match on Laos' field.

Along with that, Coach Kim Sang-sik and the coaching staff still maintain stability in terms of force, harmoniously combining experienced pillars and high-performing players at the club.

According to plan, after arriving in Vientiane and settling in, the players will have a complete rest in the afternoon to recover their health.

The Vietnamese team will begin their first training session tomorrow, November 16, opening four important days of preparation before entering the official match.

The match between Laos and Vietnam will take place at 7:00 p.m. on November 19 at Laos National Stadium.

Currently, the Vietnamese team is ranked second in Group F with 9 points, 3 points behind the leading team Malaysia. Therefore, the team's goal is to win all 3 points against Laos to maintain the race with Malaysia.
