Captain Do Duy Manh shared with the press about the team's spirit, preparation and the positive atmosphere in the past training days, especially the return of striker Xuan Son.
Evaluating the preparation process, Do Duy Manh said: “The team atmosphere is very good at the moment. We have just gone through a stressful period of competition in the V.League, but the coaching staff has made reasonable adjustments so that the players can reach their best performance for the match against Laos. The whole team is highly focused and ready for the upcoming match.”

In the first leg, the Vietnamese team defeated Laos 5-0 at Binh Duong Stadium. Playing away from home and under pressure to win convincingly, center back Duy Manh affirmed that the whole team always aims for the winning spirit but is not subjective: "The ball has not rolled yet, so we cannot say anything in advance, but the Vietnamese team always has the goal of winning. The players all practice enthusiastically, strictly following the coach's tactics.
Whoever is given the opportunity will try to perform their best. If there is a big win, it will certainly be a joy for everyone, especially the fans."

One of the highlights of this training session is the return of striker Nguyen Xuan Son after nearly a year of absence due to injury. Sharing about his teammate, Duy Manh said: “Everyone knows Xuan Son’s ability. He is a good striker, with good scoring ability. Son and I often talk and encourage each other during training. He is very professional and is showing a great desire to contribute to the Vietnam team.”

The captain of the Vietnamese team revealed more about his teammate's feelings after his return: "Son shared that what he missed the most was the feeling of being on the field. For a player, having to leave the field is terrible. But in every training session, we clearly saw that nostalgia and determination that Son showed through his relentless efforts."
The Vietnamese team will have four days of training in Vientiane before entering the match with the host team on November 19. In the first leg at Binh Duong Stadium, the Vietnamese team won 5-0.
