Hoa Xuan Ward gives gifts to people affected by natural disasters

DNO - On November 15, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Xuan ward organized the celebration of the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025) with the theme "Solidarity, sharing, and supporting people affected by natural disasters".

Hoa Xuan Ward successfully organized the Congress of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations. The local economy remained stable, many production and service models brought high efficiency; cultural life was improved, more than 95% of households achieved the title of "Cultural Family".

Recently, the ward suffered heavy damage from a historic flood, with 6,871 households submerged. The ward's Fatherland Front, along with charitable organizations, businesses, and kind individuals, promptly provided food and necessities to isolated areas.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward launched the Action Month for people in disaster areas; presented 50 gifts worth 50 million VND to people affected by the recent floods.

* Previously, on the afternoon of November 14, at the twinning program between Hoa Xuan ward and Nam Tra My commune, the People's Committee of Hoa Xuan ward presented gifts to support people of Nam Tra My commune to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The delegation directly gave cash to households whose houses were severely damaged; donated books, warm clothes and daily necessities to schools according to the needs and suggestions of Nam Tra My commune. The total value of support was 145 million VND.
