The Vietnamese team just had their last training session in Viet Tri ( Phu Tho ) before moving to Laos this morning, November 15, to prepare for the match with the host team in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.

Before the training session, captain Do Duy Manh shared with the press about the team's spirit, preparation and the positive atmosphere during the past training days.

Evaluating the preparation process, Duy Manh said: “The team's atmosphere is very good at the moment. We have just gone through a stressful period of competition in the V.League, but the coaching staff has made reasonable adjustments so that the players can reach their best performance for the match against Laos. The whole team is highly focused and ready for the upcoming match.”
When asked about the pressure to win convincingly, the 1996-born midfielder affirmed that the whole team always aims for the winning spirit but is not subjective.
Duy Manh affirmed: "It's too early to say anything, but the Vietnamese team always has the goal of winning. The players are all training hard and strictly following the coach's tactics.
Whoever is given the opportunity will try to perform their best. If there is a big win, it will certainly be a joy for everyone, especially the fans."

Regarding the atmosphere in the team, Duy Manh said: "Not only me but all the brothers in the team are close and united.
The team represents Vietnam in international competitions, so everyone is aware of their responsibilities. We will try our best, follow the training plan of the coaching staff and aim for victory."
According to plan, on the morning of November 15, the Vietnamese team will depart for Laos on a flight departing at 9:35.
Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will have 4 days of training in Vientiane before entering the match with the home team on November 19.
In the first leg at Binh Duong Stadium, the Vietnamese team won 5-0.
