The program was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Nhuan Ward, in response to the 95th Anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment and development of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine.

Dr. Ho Van Han, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine, said that the widespread participation of people and medical staff shows the growing trust in health care and traditional medicine in caring for, protecting and improving community health.

Within the framework of the program, health experts from the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine guide participants to perform warm-up movements and 7 main movements in a standing position, which can be practiced daily for about 15 minutes.

The set of movements was developed based on the set of 63 health care movements in the work "Health care method" by the late Minister of Health , People's Physician, Professor, Doctor, Doctor Nguyen Van Huong, who laid the foundation for the modern health care movement in Vietnam.

Evaluating the program, Dr. Tran Ngoc Trieu, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, said that the activity is a testament to the implementation of the policy of shifting the focus from medical examination and treatment to proactive disease prevention; focusing on protecting, caring for and improving people's health in the spirit of Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo.

Dr. Tran Ngoc Trieu emphasized that encouraging people to exercise regularly will contribute to building a sustainable health foundation; at the same time, he expressed his belief that the positive effects of the program will motivate the city to organize more similar activities.
