Taking care of social security, ensuring everyone has access to essential services

Attending the festival in Quang Ninh province were Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang; Party Central Committee members: Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Doan Minh Huan; representatives of the National Assembly Party Committee, a number of National Assembly Committees, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

At the Central Cultural House of Vinh Thuc Commune (Quang Ninh Province), Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang visited, encouraged, acknowledged and praised the results that the Party Committee, government and people of Vinh Thuc Commune have achieved in economic development in recent times. He suggested that the locality continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, self-reliance and self-reliance of the outpost island region, focus on consolidating the political system after the arrangement of administrative units, perfecting the staff, improving management capacity, ensuring unified and smooth leadership from commune to village.

Vinh Thuc commune needs to promote sustainable development of the marine economy, responsible exploitation of aquatic products, development of marine aquaculture, fishing logistics services; effectively exploit the potential of marine and island ecotourism; improve income and quality of life for the people. The commune cares about social security, education , health care, ensuring that all people have access to essential services, leaving no one behind in the development process.

Within the framework of the festival, cultural, artistic and sports activities were organized, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere. The delegation presented 7 televisions to 7 villages in Vinh Thuc commune; presented gifts to groups, policy households, exemplary families, soldiers of Vinh Thuc island, Van Gia Port Border Guard Station and Van Gia Port Customs Team.

Vinh Thuc commune was established on the basis of merging two communes Vinh Trung and Vinh Thuc of Mong Cai city before. After being arranged according to the 2-level local government model, Vinh Thuc commune has a natural area of 49.11km2 and a population of more than 5,400 people.

In recent years, the agricultural economy in the area has had a steady growth. Local authorities have focused on guiding people to promote the conversion of crops suitable to the season and soil characteristics; maintaining rice cultivation combined with the cultivation of other crops, in order to improve land use efficiency. In particular, promoting the advantages of the sea and islands, people in the area have focused on developing seafood fishing, exploiting alluvial land, and mollusk farming... bringing in a stable source of income.

* At Khay Phau village (Quang Duc commune), in a joyful and excited atmosphere, delegates and people of the residential areas of Khay Phau, Na Ly, Tinh A, and Ma Thau Pho reviewed the glorious 95-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. This is an opportunity for the community to review the tradition of solidarity, look back at the results of the emulation movement, the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life" and "Build new rural areas, advanced new rural areas". In recent times, the movement to preserve national cultural identity, security and order has been ensured; people unite to help each other develop production, build a civilized life.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh highly appreciated the efforts of the people of Khay Phau, Na Ly, Tinh A, Ma Thau Pho villages, and Quang Duc commune in economic development and preserving cultural identity. He hoped that the community would continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, actively participate in emulation movements, maintain border security, and build an increasingly prosperous homeland; promote emulation movements, create momentum and trust in the entire Party and people; and focus on implementing the tasks set for 2025.

In addition, each locality selects a model for social dialogue and a model for community security; organizes more effectively the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", promotes the self-management role of the people, joins hands to protect the environment, and builds a "bright, green, clean, beautiful, and safe" locality.

At the festival, many cultural, artistic and exchange activities took place, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and connection between villages and people of all walks of life. The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and the delegation presented gifts to Quang Duc commune, residential areas and households in difficult circumstances. Collectives, households and individuals with outstanding achievements in building a united, safe and civilized community were commended and rewarded.

The Great Unity Day in Cai Chien, Ba Che, Dien Xa communes, Yen Tu ward (Quang Ninh province) was also attended by a number of National Assembly deputies. This is an opportunity for National Assembly deputies of Quang Ninh province to meet with voters and people, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people at the grassroots level; encourage and motivate people to actively participate in preserving and building a united and safe community, preserving the national cultural identity, responding to emulation in production and labor, developing the economy and society, contributing to building an increasingly rich and civilized Quang Ninh.
