The Voice Contest on Quang Ninh Radio and Television is a prestigious music playground with a tradition of nearly 30 years in Quang Ninh province. The contest has become a beautiful mark in the cultural and artistic life of the province, and is also the cradle to discover, nurture and give wings to young musical talents of the Mining Region. From the stage of the contest, many singers have matured, asserted themselves and shone on national and international music stages, bringing pride to their homeland Quang Ninh with its rich artistic traditions.
The 2025 Voice Contest on Quang Ninh Radio and Television has received the support of sponsors: Vingroup Corporation (gold sponsor), TTP Industrial Development Investment Corporation (silver sponsor) and Kim Cuong Do Studio Ha Long (costume and makeup sponsor).

The Jury of the Competition includes prestigious names in the music and performance industry, including: Major General, Musician Nguyen Duc Trinh, President of the Vietnam Musicians Association, Head of the Jury; Colonel, People's Artist Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh, Director of the Army Music and Dance Theater, Deputy Head of the Jury; journalist, musician Le Truong Thi, Vietnam Television; Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung and Mining Artist Trinh Kim Oanh, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Arts (Ha Long University).

The 2025 contest took place from November 1 to 16, with many innovations in the organization, rules and award structure; the organization was invested in elaborately, ensuring scale and professionalism. In particular, the contestants performed on a modern stage with professional sound, lighting and recording equipment at the Quang Ninh Newspaper, Radio and Television Headquarters, contributing to improving the quality of the contestants' performances, aiming to find outstanding voices in 3 musical styles: Chamber, folk and light music.

From the preliminary round, this year's contest attracted nearly 100 contestants nationwide to register, including contestants from the following provinces and cities: Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh... In particular, many contestants are young artists, students from colleges, universities, academies, and leading professional art units in the country such as: Navy Art Troupe; Vietnam National Academy of Music; Central University of Art Education; Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema; Ha Long University... proving the strong influence of the contest.

After the preliminary round, 20 excellent contestants were selected for the semi-finals. After 2 semi-final nights on November 8-9, the Organizing Committee selected 10 contestants to compete in the final round.
The final night opened with the song “Quang Ninh Star” (Composer: Pham The Anh) - a new song for the Voice Contest on Quang Ninh Radio and Television performed by the top 10 contestants and the dance group of Ha Long University. The performance was like a bustling, energetic greeting to the audience, expressing the youthful, attractive and professional musical atmosphere of this year's Competition.


In the final round, each contestant performed 2 songs of their choice in 1 of 3 music genres: Folk, Chamber and Pop. Through each performance, the contestants showed clear maturity from vocal technique to stage control, bringing the audience breakthrough and emotional performances.



At the end of the contest, contestant Nguyen Hoang Bao Ngoc won the championship and received the "Most Favorite Contestant" award thanks to having the most votes on the fanpage of Quang Ninh Newspaper and Radio and Television.

The Organizing Committee awarded 3 Second Prizes to contestants: Cao Thi Phuong Mai (Quang Ninh); Bui Nguyen Bao Anh (Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema) and Hoang Duc Dat (Vietnam National Academy of Music); 3 Third Prizes to contestants: Nguyen Van Thi (Vietnam National Academy of Music); Nguyen Tuan Anh (Vietnam National Academy of Music) and Nguyen Khanh Huyen (Central University of Art Education); 3 Encouragement Prizes to contestants: Bui Cuong Phong (Central University of Art Education); Ta Khang Thien (Quang Ninh) and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh (Navy Art Troupe).


The 2025 Voice Contest on Quang Ninh Radio and Television has successfully concluded, affirming its role as a solid launching pad for the professional artistic journey of the contestants, while leaving sublime emotions and good echoes in the hearts of music lovers.
