On the morning of November 16, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan attended the 2025 National Great Unity Festival at Nguyet Lang B hamlet, Binh Phu commune, Vinh Long province to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025).
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan emphasized that the National Great Unity Day has become a unique cultural beauty of our nation. This is an opportunity for people to strengthen solidarity, meet, share thoughts, exchange experiences in economic development, contribute to building increasingly clean and strong grassroots governments... Thereby, consolidating solidarity at the grassroots, connecting the Party's will with the people's hearts, together building a rich, prosperous and happy homeland and country.
This year's National Great Unity Day has special significance, as the country prepares to enter a new phase, towards the 14th National Party Congress and key political tasks of the next term.
This is an important time for all ethnic groups and religions to promote the tradition of national solidarity, join hands to support the major policies of the Party and State, and arouse the aspiration to build a prosperous, wealthy and happy country.
The Vice President highly appreciated the organization of the Festival in Nguyet Lang B hamlet; acknowledged the solidarity, sense of responsibility and outstanding results that the locality has achieved in recent times. Local people have implemented many suitable and effective economic models, contributing to improving income and creating jobs; proactively participating in digital transformation in a number of essential fields. Security and order have been maintained, education and health care have been focused on... These results demonstrate the consensus of the people in building the Party and grassroots government.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan asked the leaders of Vinh Long province to continue promoting the great national unity bloc, strongly promoting the potentials and advantages of the land rich in revolutionary traditions, diligence and creativity. The rich cultural identity of the ethnic communities, especially the Khmer people, along with a development space of more than 6,300 square kilometers, a large population... are important resources for the province to form new economic models, creating growth momentum in the coming period.
Localities need to make good use of transport infrastructure, digital infrastructure and socio-economic infrastructure projects being invested by the Central and local governments, thereby enhancing development, aiming for an increasingly important position in the Mekong Delta region and the whole country.
Leaders of Vinh Long province need to pay attention to promoting green economic models, digital economy, and circular economy; proactively adapting to climate change; promoting sustainable new rural construction and civilized urban areas associated with improving the quality of cultural and spiritual life for the people.
The Fatherland Front and mass organizations of Vinh Long province continue to promote their role in gathering and mobilizing people in the new revolutionary period; contributing to building sustainable new rural areas and civilized urban areas; preserving national cultural identity, village solidarity, security and order, and improving people's quality of life.
The Fatherland Front at all levels has stepped up propaganda and mobilized people to support the Party and State's policies and guidelines, and to participate well in the preparation work for the upcoming elections of People's Councils at all levels and the National Assembly.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan reminded localities to pay attention to taking care of people's lives, jobs and social security, especially during the Lunar New Year. Party committees and authorities create favorable conditions for the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to perfect their organizational apparatus, arrange suitable staff, attract quality human resources, and meet the requirements of tasks in the new context.
Nguyet Lang B Hamlet is one of 25 hamlets of Binh Phu commune, with 554 households and nearly 2,450 people, mainly Kinh, Khmer, and Chinese ethnic groups. 90.3% of the hamlet's households are cultural families, maintaining the title of cultural hamlet and new rural hamlet. Social security, education, and health care are given attention, the rate of children going to school is 100%, and more than 2,300 people participate in health insurance. The "bright-green-clean-beautiful" movement is maintained, security and order are stable. The average income per capita is currently 65.5 million VND/person/year...
In 2026, the hamlet aims to continue economic development, sustainable poverty reduction; improve the quality of the movement to build new rural areas - civilized urban areas; promote mastery, strengthen people's supervision and innovate the activities of the Front and mass organizations.
On this occasion, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented 200 million VND to the Children's Support Fund of Vinh Long province, presented many gifts to residential areas, policy families, exemplary households, and poor households of Nguyet Lang B hamlet. Vinh Long province leaders presented 5 Great Solidarity houses with a total value of 300 million VND to families with housing difficulties; and also presented many gifts to poor and near-poor households./.
