Reviewing preparations for the 25th Vietnam - China Fair (Lao Cai)

On the morning of November 16, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025 chaired a meeting to review the preparation work. Also attending were leaders of the provincial departments, branches and sectors; heads of working groups serving the fair and representatives of Lao Cai Ward People's Committee.

The 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair ( Lao Cai ) in 2025 will take place at Kim Thanh Exhibition Fair Center, Lao Cai ward, from November 19 to 24, 2025.

The fair has a scale of 700 booths, including 500 standard booths, 4,000 m² of exhibition area (including special exhibition area and auto exhibition area) and food court. Up to now, the organizing committee has completed the registration of 313/313 standard booths of 153 domestic units; at the same time, handing over the premises of the special booth area and 200 standard booths to the Standing Committee of the Fair on the Chinese side.

Representatives of departments and branches report on the progress of task implementation.

At the meeting, relevant departments, branches and units reported and quickly informed about the construction progress of items serving the organization of the fair and the preparation of events on the sidelines of the fair.

Up to this point, the fair organizing committee has completed 45/103 tasks as planned. Construction units are on schedule, including installing prefabricated houses, erecting frames, assembling, decorating exhibition areas and booths, ready to hand over to the fair organizing committee, domestic units and enterprises, China and third countries. In addition, side events of the fair are also carefully and thoroughly prepared with proactive and flexible plans to ensure the activities take place successfully and safely.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thanh Sinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, and working groups serving the fair to continue to carefully review each part of the work, ensuring all conditions for the fair to take place successfully.

In addition to carefully preparing the conditions for the opening ceremony, ensuring working programs, conferences, and diplomatic meetings, units need to immediately implement cleaning work, tree trimming, and renovating the roads around the fair area, ensuring urban aesthetics and environmental sanitation. The comrade also requested to develop and implement a plan to ensure security, order, food safety, and protect the health of delegates, people, and visitors participating in the fair.
