Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong reminded the officials and people of Xop village not to be subjective because there are still many difficulties and challenges that need to be addressed, especially in developing sustainable livelihoods, preventing re-poverty, and preserving and promoting traditional culture associated with developing community tourism.
The year 2026 marks the beginning of a new term, a new development stage for the country with many important events such as the 14th National Party Congress; the election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term. Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong requested that people of all walks of life continue to have absolute trust in the Party's leadership; join hands and respond wholeheartedly to the patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Front.
The Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front of Quang Ngai province; the people of Mo Rai commune and Xop village need to continue promoting grassroots democracy associated with culture, continue to institutionalize and widely implement the process of "People know - people discuss - people do - people check - people supervise - people benefit" in all activities.

“Each person, each household must be an example of overcoming difficulties, enriching their family, helping brothers, relatives, and neighbors to escape poverty sustainably. I believe that, with the tradition of solidarity and the will to rise up of the people, Xop village will continue to achieve even greater results, contributing to building Mo Rai commune into a model new rural commune of Quang Ngai province,” Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong stated.

Mr. Ksor Gen, a prestigious person in Xop village happily said that over the past years, under the attention of the Party, the State and the local government, and the consensus of the people, Xop village has achieved many encouraging results. The festival is not only an occasion for us to happily meet and reunite, but also a time for everyone to look back and remind each other of the responsibility to maintain the great solidarity.
As long as there is solidarity, the village will be strong; as long as there is love for each other, life will be peaceful. Mr. Ksor Gen promised to continue to promote his role, contributing to mobilizing people to comply with the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws; build a new cultural life; preserve customs and traditional identity; and together build Mo Rai commune to become more and more developed.
Mo Rai is one of the border communes with a strategic position in terms of national defense and security, located in the West of Quang Ngai province, with a 21 km long border, adjacent to the Kingdom of Cambodia. On this border line, there are 5 main markers and 17 sub-markers. The whole commune has 1,650 households, with more than 5,800 people; of which, ethnic minorities account for 71.5%. In Xop village alone, there are 100 households with 330 people, the majority of whom are J'Rai ethnic people.
People's lives mainly depend on agriculture, self-sufficient production methods, uneven educational levels, different customs, practices, and beliefs. In recent times, the people of Xop village have achieved many important results. In particular, the economic life of the people is stable, per capita income in 2025 is estimated at 45 million VND/person/year, an increase of 6 million VND compared to 2024; the rate of well-off and rich households accounts for over 67% of households, the rate of poor and near-poor households according to multidimensional criteria is decreasing.

Previously, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Primary - Secondary Boarding School for the border communes in Mo Rai commune. The school has 30 classrooms, serving about 1,300 students. This is a project of profound political, social and humanistic significance, demonstrating the special care of the Party, State and Quang Ngai province for the people, soldiers and especially the children in the border areas, the fence of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong and leaders of the province, units and localities presented gifts to schools in Mo Rai commune, including disadvantaged students who have overcome difficulties.
