Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep chaired the conference. Attending the conference were Major General Nguyen Huu Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Security ( Ministry of Public Security ) and leaders of localities, agencies and units.

The report at the conference stated: After more than 1 year of implementing the campaign model "Returning to faith, keeping peace in villages and hamlets" and Resolution No. 10 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels in the management and education of FULRO subjects in the community, Gia Lai province has achieved remarkable results.

Under the strong direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the synchronous participation of departments, branches, sectors, Party committees and local authorities, the management and education of FULRO subjects in the community has achieved many outstanding results. The police force plays a core role, closely coordinating with the grassroots political system, assigning responsibility to each cadre and party member. The mobilization work has received high consensus from the people, especially religious dignitaries and prestigious people among ethnic minorities.

From June 2024 to now, localities have mobilized more than 1,500 cadres, party members and other components to participate in propaganda and education to implement the model "Returning to faith to keep peace in villages and hamlets". Of which, there are 819 commune-level cadres, 590 grassroots core forces, more than 80 religious dignitaries and prestigious people.

Thanks to that, the whole province has mobilized 1,450 people to return to activities in religious organizations recognized by law and abandon "Dega Protestantism" and the "Ha Mon" cult. Along with that, localities and units have organized 28 reception sessions for people to return to activities in religious activity points and groups permitted by law.

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep praised the efforts of the forces in recent times, affirming that this is an important contribution to the stability and development of the province.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep requested all levels and sectors to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the instructions of superiors on ensuring political security; proactively prevent, combat and handle FULRO and "Dega Protestant" activities, absolutely not be subjective, lose vigilance, focus on ensuring national security early, from afar, right from the grassroots.

Departments, agencies and units continue to effectively implement the contents of the model "Returning to faith, keeping peace in villages and hamlets" and Resolution No. 10 on strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels in the management and education of FULRO subjects in the community.

Local Party committees and authorities continue to focus on consolidating and perfecting the Steering Committee for community education management and the Steering Committee for the model of "Returning to faith to keep peace in villages and hamlets". Promote the strength of the grassroots political system, promote the movement of the entire people to protect national security and propagate and mobilize the masses, especially ethnic minorities, to focus on labor production, not to believe and not to listen to the propaganda and distortions of hostile forces, and maintain stability in the political security situation in the area.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 7 groups (including Gia Lai Newspaper, Radio and Television) and 10 individuals; the Provincial Police Director awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 18 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the model "Returning to faith, keeping peace in villages and hamlets".
