QNgTV - According to forecasts from the meteorological and hydrological sector, the central provinces will experience heavy rain starting tonight.

From the night of November 15th to the night of November 16th, the area from southern Quang Tri to Da Nang City, the eastern parts of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa will experience heavy to very heavy rain, with rainfall amounts of 100–200mm, and locally over 300mm.

The area from Ha Tinh to northern Quang Tri will experience moderate to heavy rain, with rainfall amounts of 60–100mm, and locally over 200mm.

In the western part of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak , there will be rain, moderate rain, with rainfall amounts of 30-60mm, and locally over 120mm.

From November 17th to the night of November 18th, the areas of Hue City, Da Nang City, and the eastern parts of Quang Ngai and Gia Lai provinces experienced heavy to very heavy rainfall, with amounts ranging from 200–450mm, and locally exceeding 550mm.

The area from Ha Tinh to Quang Tri, and the eastern parts of Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa provinces will experience rainfall of 100–250mm, with localized areas exceeding 350mm.

In the western part of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak, there will be rainfall of 40–80mm, with some areas receiving over 150mm.

From January 19th, heavy rain continued across a wide area in Da Nang City and the provinces from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa.
