Tay Son Secondary School supports students in Tra Tan highland area

DNO - On November 15, Tay Son Secondary School (Hoa Cuong Ward) and the school's Parents' Association brought meaningful gifts to teachers and students of Ly Tu Trong Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Tra Tan Commune) in the twinning program between the two units.

Tay Son Secondary School presented many gifts to students of Ly Tu Trong Secondary School for Ethnic Minority Boarding Students in the twinning program.

Ly Tu Trong Ethnic Boarding Secondary School is located in the remote commune of Tra Giac (old), now in Tra Tan commune. The school currently has 260 students, of which 160 boarders, because many of their homes are 60km away from the school on mountain roads.

During this period, teachers and parents of Tay Son Secondary School mobilized donations of 260 new uniforms, 260 warm coats, and 260 notebooks for all students of Ly Tu Trong Secondary School for Ethnic Minority Boarding Students.

In addition, the delegation also donated 1 ton of rice and many essential necessities to boarding students; and awarded 13 scholarships to students in especially difficult circumstances.

Tay Son Secondary School donated a set of smart interactive screens to Ly Tu Trong Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.

On this occasion, the two schools signed a twinning program, coordinating and supporting each other in expertise, exchanging teaching experiences and supporting students.

At the signing ceremony, Tay Son Secondary School presented Ly Tu Trong Secondary School for Ethnic Minority Boarding School with a set of 65-inch smart interactive screens.

The twinning activity between two schools in Hoa Cuong ward and Tra Tan commune not only exchanges expertise, but also helps students from both localities share and encourage their efforts to overcome difficulties. The program is supported by parents, with a budget of nearly 200 million VND.
