In this tournament, because coach Kim Sang Sik is busy with the Vietnam national team in Laos, Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh is the interim coach of U22 Vietnam.
Before the match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Korea at 2:30 p.m. on November 18, Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh said: “U22 Korea is a very strong team. Their players have good speed and a modern playing style. In addition, Korean players always have the habit of moving all over the field.”
“Playing in the U22 Korea tournament, we have to play in an organized manner and maintain a consistent formation. I will analyze the match against U22 Uzbekistan and review the players’ physical condition before making appropriate adjustments in the upcoming match against U22 Korea.

In addition, the U22 Vietnam players need to do better in the final handling situations. We also do not forget the task of creating opportunities for players who rarely play in the upcoming match, before the whole team has a comprehensive assessment of the force," added interim coach Dinh Hong Vinh.
Currently, U22 Vietnam has not used two very young faces, central defender Dinh Quang Kiet and goalkeeper Nguyen Tan. Both of these players have extremely good physique, rare for Vietnamese players, both are 1m95 tall. Maybe they will be used at the right time in the match with U22 Korea.
Among them, center back Dinh Quang Kiet is the right person to confront the Korean players' strong playing style, using a lot of high balls and long balls. When needed, Dinh Quang Kiet can even be pushed up to play as a striker, taking advantage of his height, creating a wall for his teammates in aerial battles.
